Health and Wellness

  • Our tea is cultivated and processed using only natural methods, without any pesticides or chemical fertilizers. We ensure our teas meet the highest standards by having them tested in a third-party laboratory, keeping them as close to nature as possible. While we are not yet organic certified, we are actively working towards achieving this certification.

  • All of our teas are vegan.

  • Yes, all of our teas are gluten free.

  • Yes, you can rest assured knowing our products do not contain genetically modified organisms (GMO's)

  • Our tea's are grown and produced in the Balkan mountains of Bulgaria, Europe at high altitudes, predominately in the Rila mountains and Rhodope mountains.

    Some of our herbs are from other countries, and we carefully source them. The countries are specified on our product labels and also our ‘Beyond the Balkans’ range, leaning into the complimentary beauty and benefits of herbs from other countries.

  • We recommend drinking between 2-4 cups per day. For our night time tea we recommend 1-2 cups 30 minutes to 1 hour before sleep. Each blend of tea has specified directions with dosages listed in the product description on our website and our tea packaging.

    You can adjust the amount to suit you and your lifestyle.

    Always check with your medical health professional if you are taking medication or have any concerns about consuming herbal teas.

Environmental Sustainability

  • We set out to make Balkan Pantry environmentally responsible from the very beginning of our journey. Not only did we want our product ingredients to be free from hidden additives, plastics and heavy metals, it made sense for our packaging to also be environmentally friendly. That is why we sourced special packaging for our tea blends that is recyclable. We wanted to pass our products on to you, as close to nature as possible. That is why we support local tea farmers in the Balkan Mountains of Bulgaria and eliminate complicated supply chains, and bring the produce direct to our customers from the farms.
